Do I like non-alcoholic wine? Is the non-alcoholic Cüpli an alternative for me? A good 30 alumni and guests tasted their way through our selection at the beginning of November and chose their favorites.

In mid-February, former and active board members met for the traditional VESUV fondue evening and took a nostalgic look back 10 years into the past.

They are on the move with lots of water and horsepower. The people from the airport fire department are equipped for all eventualities. Of course we had to take a look.

Around 10 Vesuv members took round 10 Vesuvius members took part in the private tour of the Pharmacy Museum at the University of Basel at the beginning of December.

End of November, just before the first snow, VESUV members met at ETH Campus Hönggerberg in «Nik’s Hütte» to start the holiday season with mulled wine and raclette.

At the end of October, VESUV board members were invited back to ETH to attend the «Vorstandspizzaplausch» of VSETH. It’s an ideal platform for VESUV to promote itself and ETH Alumni in general.

Coral reefs around the world are under severe threat from ocean exploitation, climate change and environmental pollution. How can destroyed coral reefs be rebuilt? This is the mission of "rrreefs", a company founded by ETH alumna Dr. Ulrike Pfreundt. Around 40 members of the VESUV, the Bio and Environment Alumni attended Dr. Pfreundt's lecture, where they were also able to examine a specimen of the coral reef building block.

About 20 VESUV members met mid-May at ETH for a drink after work. The start of «Summerbar» promised nostalgic moments and allowed networking with the current board members.

In March, VESUV members met for an after-work beer. To minimise the journey to and from the meeting, there was one in Bern and one in Zurich. Local beer and casual networking were on the agenda.

Beginning of February, former and currently active board members met at the traditional VESUV-Fondue to learn about the Collaborative Learning Platform and to remember what happened ten years ago.

Mid January about 20 young VESUV members found their way (back) to CAB. PapperlaPub opened its doors for a study break and nostalgic moments.

End of November VESUV members met at ETH Campus Hönggerberg in Nik's Hütte to start the holiday season with mulled wine and raclette.

This autumn, VESUV organized a guided tour through the energy tunnels and energy central of ETH Zurich center.

For our first event after the summer break, about 15 VESUV members met end of September for a beer after work at Bierwerk next to Zurich main station.

The annual general assembly of VESUV took place mid of July. About 25 members followed the board's invitation. After the assembly we grilled and had a beer together.

Almost 50 alumnae and alumni gathered end of April to celebrate thirteen years VESUV and eleven years membership of ETH Alumni. After a tour in the new Student Project House, TASTLAB prepared delicious food for us in the Alumni Pavilion.

Fondue at home and yet not alone: End of January, VESUV members met online to have «Fondue» together and reminisce VSETH`s anniversary which happened 10 years ago.

About 20 VESUV members met online mid-January, drank a hot chocolate together and enjoyed a reminiscent night.

Visiting the historic Urania Observatory in the heart of Zurich, VESUV was guided through the night sky, thereby, the participants were allowed to study the Moon, Jupiter and Saturn.

End of October, about 20 VESUV members met online for a pub quiz. The quiz was fun despite technical difficulties in the beginning.

30 VESUV members met at the end of August on the terrace in front of the Alumni Pavillon at ETH Zurich. It was a casual evening with BBQ, salads and sweets for dessert.

About 25 VESUV members met at the end of July for a beer after work. The event took place in Bern and Zurich at the same time. Both cities have nice locations at the waterfront.

The annual general assembly of VESUV happened at the end of June. About 30 members signed up for free Pizza. Of course, people watched the football tournament after the assembly.

20 VESUV members met on March 14th to celebrate pi day. Obviously, there was pie and extra nostalgia in our series «10 years ago ...».

On Tuesday, 23 February, VESUV organised a corona-compliant, flexible alternative of VESUV´s traditional Fondue night. «Fondue-Lottery» matched four people to have Fondue together.

Around 15 VESUV-members met Mid-February for a nostalgic hot chocolate or just a well-deserved beer after work. They also rediscovered the game «win, lose or draw».

Around 15 VESUV members met Mid-January for a well-earned beer after work. It was also Wikipedia`s 20th birthday.

To celebrate the end of the year, VESUV members met online for the traditional "mulled wine event" - this time with homemade mulled wine.

In mid-November, several VESUV members met online in order to use their grey brain cells for another pub quiz. Once again, there was enough time for networking.

In late October, some VESUV members met virtually for a whisky tasting and tested both taste and smell of whiskies. Of course, there was enough time for networking.

The annual general meeting took place online at the end of June. There was a little surprise for members who registered in time.

At the end of May, VESUV members met online for an after-work beer and used their gray brain cells in a virtual pub quiz.

On January 31, 2020, former and active student delegates met for the traditional VESUV Fondue and nostalgically looked back at the founding of the PapperlaPub ten years ago.

On November 5th, 2019, we were guided through Zurich’s Bahnhofstrasse by the Public Eye association (formerly known as Berne Declaration), which told us about the dark side of the Swiss financial centre.

On 20th June 2019, the VESUV alumni members met at the ETH centre. Young and old members first joined a guided tour in the main building and the VSETH offices in CAB and then participated at the assembly.
