Our Members
More than 35,000 former students of ETH Zurich are brought together in the ETH Alumni Association and its 64 affiliate organisations. Alumnae and alumni benefit from an active, global network, linking them with other graduates working in the worlds of economics, the sciences, politics and social issues. Membership of the ETH Alumni Association also provides various services which make it easier for members to keep up-to-date and in contact with ETH Zurich.
ETH alumnae or ETH alumni are also ambassadors for the interests of the university and therefore contribute to the development of their alma mater. This enhances dialogue between ETH Zurich and the outside world, including the opportunity to help shape the future of the university.

Our remit: Data Management for ETH Zurich
Our graduates are amongst the most important ambassadors that ETH Zurich has. Through their engagement and the work they do in all areas they are a major boost to the reputation of their alma mater. ETH Zurich therefore has a vested interest in keeping in touch with its alumni and alumnae. The purpose of the ETH Alumni Association is to manage graduate data and to provide a communications infrastructure for alumni and alumnae.
Working to achieve this remit, the ETH Alumni Association facilitates:
- how all ETH alumni and alumnae identify with their university, so that they feel at home at ETH Zurich and are responsive to its requests
- how people working in social matters, economics and politics view ETH Zurich
- the promotion of ETH Zurich’s leading position by feeding their gained experience back to the university
