On Saturday, May 26, 2018 after a long time period, the Alumni Sydney Chapter gathered again! This first event represents the starting point for, what the organisation hopes to be, a reactivation of the Alumni Chapter Sydney with regular meet-ups, events and activities.

At the beginning of June 2018, more than a dozen Chapter France alumni took an exciting trip to Saint Nazaire, a costal town near Nantes in western France to visit two technological construction companies.

During the «Mein Ziel – Karriere in der Ostschweiz» event, four well-known personalities proved that a career is not only possible in Zürich, London or New York. The stories about their own career paths allowed for an entertaining journey through time.

Robert Weiss, honorary member of the ETH Alumni Association and the professional association IAETH Alumni, has done many crazy things in his long professional career. Zurich-born Robert Weiss today is known for his unique computer collection as well as the digital evolution poster.

On Thursday June 14, 2018, about 30 alumni of the Ortsgruppe Zürich as well as Zürichsee and their partners took part in a guided tour through the main building of the ETH Zürich.

The ETH Alumni Chapter Beijing had a Salon & Tour of new energy at the beginning of June 2018 in Beijing, a joint event with the Switzerland Chapter and Hireding Salon of the Western Returned Scholars Association ● Overseas-educated Scholars Association (WRSA).
