Adrian Anderegg never wanted to specialise in Electrical Engineering but go on a path in the private industry. That is why after his Bachelor in Electrial Engineering and Information Technology he changed to a Master's degree MTEC. Today, he works as a division manager banks & insurances at the AWK group. He makes ideal use of the different aspects of his studies and experiences of his former employments.
OG Basel visit at GF/JRG and in Ebenrain
Chapter Basel Alumni
The Alumni Chapter Basel organised an interesting excursion on November 7, 2018. It lead the two dozen members to Sissach and the company GF-JRG and the agricultural centre Ebenrain. After the company tour and a nose full of country air, the Alumni visited the castle Ebenrain, which they liked a lot.
ETH day from 17th November 2018
The ETH celebrated its 163rd birthday on 17th November 2018. Like every year, the celebrations were solemn, many presidents from ETH Alumni affiliate organisations and honorary members were invited.
HST Alumnus of the month November - Patrick Hörnlimann
HST Alumni
Patrick Hörnlimann, our «Alumnus of the Month» November, completed his specialised master’s degree in «Biomedical Engineering» (D-ITET) successfully after his HST bachelor’s degree. He works as an engineer in the field «New Product Development» at Valenco and as Co-founder of the start-up «viAbz» - two different roles in two different specialised fields. He tells us how he manages and what he finds particularly interesting.
