The ETH Alumni team successfully held its own against the HSG Alumni at the 10th anniversary edition of the Ryder Cup. The trophy thus went to both alumni organizations in 2024.

At the end of the 2023 golf season, some of the members of the ETH alumni golf group traveled to Ticino. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate - it was raining cats and dogs - and so we had to give up playing golf. As an alternative program, however, we had the chance to visit the global company Diamond in Losone, truly an impressive tour.

The ETH alumni almost won again at the ninth edition of the Ryder Cup at the Lucerne Dietschiberg Golf Club. Unfortunately, it was not quite enough in the end; the ETH lost to the HSG with an extremely narrow 18:19 victory.
Golf days in Waldkirch and Gonten Appenzell

From 15 to 16 September 2022, the ETH Alumni Golf Group played two tournaments in Eastern Switzerland: on Thursday, 15 September under excellent conditions in Waldkirch and on Friday, 16 September in windy and rainy weather in Gonten Appenzell.

The ETH Alumni golf group suffered a narrow defeat at the eighth edition of the Ryder Cup in Lucerne. They lost to the HSG Alumni with 20:23 in match play. The HSG thus extended its lead to 6:2 in the duel.
Second tournament of the season in Meggen

On the first weekend of July, the Golf group Alumni held its second golf tournament on the beautiful golf course in Meggen.
Start of the season 2022 in St. Apollinaire

The Golf group Alumni kicked off its season on the second weekend of May by playing their first tournament in St. Apollinaire, Alsace. In cool but dry conditions, the golfers met in pleasant France.
Final golf round in Ticino

The golfers of the Golf Group Alumni played their last tournament of the 2021 season in Ticino. In beautiful and mild autumn weather, they competed twice on the challenging but beautifully-situated course in Losone.

ETH alumnus Jürg Randegger ventured into the world record in speed golf this summer and broke it after just about twelve hours on the golf course in Niederbühren.

The golf team of ETH alumni had to accept another defeat at the seventh edition of the Ryder Cup in Lucerne. They lost against the HSG alumni with 24:19 during match play. The HSG thus extends its lead to 5:2 in the duel.
Golf weekend in Germany

The ETH Golf Group Alumni played two golf tournaments in Germany on the weekend of June 13-14. On the beautiful and difficult courses in Constance and Weissensberg in best weather, it was the mutual golf experience on the course and at the following cozy get-together that made the day whereas the results were only of minor importance.
Successful tournament in Vuissens

On Saturday, 19 September 2020, the third tournament of the Golf group Alumni took place in Vuissens in the Canton of Fribourg. A small group of eight golfers started in two flights of four under perfect conditions regarding the golf course and weather.

The team of the ETH Alumni unfortunately had to accept defeat at the sixth holding of the Ryder Cup in Niederbüren once again. They lost 17 – 22 against the HSG Alumni in match play. Consequently, HSG Alumni is in the lead with 4 – 2 victories.

Am 17. August 2017 fand bereits zum 4. Mal der Ryder Cup zwischen den ETH Alumni und den HSG Alumni im schönen Ostschweizer Golfclub in Niederbüren statt. Gespielt wurde im Matchplay, sodass sich 40 ETH-ler im persönlichen Duell mit 40 HSG-lern in 4er Flights duellierten.
