ETH Alumni Engineering & Management EAEM is the Alumni group of the MTEC Departementes at the ETH Zürich.

The EAEM is the alumni group for all ETH engineers with an interest in management. The association aims to promote entrepreneurial thought and innovative action as well as to reinforce personal and professional networks.

The EAEM regularly organises lectures on topical business administration issues. Experts and people holding leading positions in the worlds of science and business are invited to speak. Plenty of time is always reserved at these events for plenum discussions. The lectures are often combined with a tour of the speaker’s company.

The EAEM also organises specific events to promote contact between students at ETH Zurich and business representatives. These events aim to provide students with information about potential engineering and management placements and to allow them to start making contact with potential employers. The events give the business representatives a good opportunity to enter into conversation with potential new employees at an early stage in their development.

The EAEM was founded as the “Association of Swiss Operating Engineers” (VSBI) on 12 September 1943. As one of the largest alumni associations within the family of ETH alumni groups, it has been known as ETH Alumni Engineering & Management since April 2004.
