ETH Alumni OG Basel summer event
The ETH Alumni OG Basel summer event is a traditional event that, in addition to interesting topics, primarily serves as a social get-together.
This year's ETH Alumni OG Basel summer event took place on August 8, 2024 and was once again very popular. Over forty participants took part in the event, which this time took place at the salt works in Pratteln.
The summer event began with an exciting guided tour of the salt works, during which the participants learned a lot about the geology of salt and the entire production process while enjoying an aperitif together. A particular highlight was the impressive sight of the huge mountain of salt in the salt works warehouse, which left a lasting impression on many participants.
The tour not only offered informative insights, but also plenty of opportunity to exchange ideas with other participants and have interesting conversations.
Afterwards, the participants went to the Lebanese restaurant in Rheinfelden, where they rounded off the evening with delicious Lebanese specialties. In a relaxed and convivial atmosphere, old friendships were refreshed and new ones made, further strengthening the bond between the alumni.
The summer event only came to an end after 10 p.m., but the memories of this successful evening will live on for a long time. The mixture of cultural and culinary experiences made this summer event an unforgettable experience for all participants.
We would like to thank Pavel for the organization and are already looking forward to next year and to spending an equally eventful summer event together with the alumni of the ETH OG Basel.
