On a bike from Paris to Hong Kong

Basile biked from Paris to Hong Kong. His exploit took him 16 months and 4 days. His stories and pictures raptured the ETH Alumni Chapter in Shanghai.
On 14th December 2018, our ETH alumni Basile shared with us about his stories, feelings and inspirations of his biking journey from Paris to Hong Kong: 16 months and 4 days, 18077 kilometres and 24 countries. We had a full house in Shanghai, and it was filled with passion, excitement and positive vibes! What a story!
Basile made one thing clear from the beginning: he is not a professional cyclist. Having finished his robotic studies at the ETH, he worked for a few months. He then followed his calling for adventure: He believes his future life is in China. So off he went on his bike. Having arrived in China, he is currently setting up a robotics start up in China.
