Since her masters in HST with a specialization in medical technology, Michelle Anliker has been working as application scientist for the Tecan Group AG in Männedorf, an international Swiss Biotech company that specializes in lab technology and robotics in the field of life science for clinical diagnostics, bio pharma and forensics.

Leading a balanced life, where work and private life are in tune, was the topic of the one-day career event on Februray 26, 2018. Laura Rijks, alumna ETH Zürich, movement scientist and lifestyle coach, led the event in the CLA building with a small group of ETH alumni.

On 24 February 2018, a number of REIS alumni made their way up to higher elevations. What first looked like a day of gray in gray, turned into a beautiful snow day with clear blue skies. Not only the weather guaranteed for a bunch of happy alumni.

To ring in the year 2018, the Alumni Chapter Wien invited their members to a business lunch together with the Cercle Académique Suisse (CAS) in February. Not only the members of the CAS, but also alumni of different Swiss universities as well as the Swiss ambassador in Vienna, himself a HSG alumnus, and the Brazilian ambassador in Vienna, attended the event.

On February 21, 2018, 23 members of the OG Bern participated in the guided tour of the exhibit «Entartete Kunst – beschlagnahmt und verkauft» at the Bernese art museum which was organized by A. von Waldkirch.

A record number of almost 40 Process Alumni met on January 23, 2018 at the prominent turbine at the Escher-Wyss-Platz for a visit to one the last big remaining industrial plants – the MAN Diesel & Turbo Schweiz AG.
