Zurich meets Hong Kong Alumni Gathering
ETH alumni gathered at the end of October at an event of “Zurich meets Hong Kong – A Festival of Two Cities” that took place all over Hong Kong. Among others the festival highlighted ETH research on augmented reality, game technology, and integrated technological solutions to sustain future “smart cities.”
Celebrating art, culture, science, and technology, ETH Zurich staged three events as part of “Zurich meets Hong Kong – A Festival of Two Cities” that took place from 21 to 29 October 2017. The festival highlighted ETH research on augmented reality, game technology, and integrated technological solutions to sustain future “smart cities.” ETH alumni from the region were invited to individual events. A group of 20 alumni from the Hong Kong and Shanghai chapters joined the event on “Augmented Reality, Creativity and the Arts” at Hong Kong Baptist University on 23 October. After the event, they all gathered for dinner and a lively exchange with Prof. Gerhard Schmitt, Senior Vice-President ETH Global and Prof. Bob Sumner from the ETH Game Technology Center and keynote speaker of the evening’s event.
