Beer party in Singapore? No way… – But it happened on Friday, October 13 at the roof top garden of the Singapore ETH Centre (SEC).
The occasion was the visit of former ETH President Ralph Eichler. And as a coincidence, it was also the first day of work of the new (old) director of SEC, Gerhard Schmitt, who returned to Singapore. The Alumni Chapter Singapore President, Peter Lustenberger, greeted 35 ETH Alumni, SEC members and friends. Ralph Eichler highlighted the importance of Alumni, who spread the name and fame of our Alma Mater all over the world.
Tasty homebrewed beer
The beer party turned out to be a great success with the tasty homebrewed beer produced by an ETH Alumnus and member of SEC. We also thank SEC for generously sponsoring the food. We extend a warm welcome to Gerhard Schmitt, the founding director of SEC and supporter of ETH Alumni Singapore Chapter.
