Within our networked world, it is important to build and maintain relationships. It is for this reason that we collaborate with other universities and organisations to organise occasions that bring together alumni from various universities.
At panel discussions, presentations, cocktail parties or brunches, ETH graduates can to discuss current issues as well as build or strengthen relationships with other alumni.

A lot of fun at the Scientifica Trail
From 4 to 5 September 2021, Scientifica took place. ETH Alumni offered the Scientifica Trail on ETH’s campus on Hönggerberg. Many children and youngsters, and even grown-ups, had fun visiting different exhibition booths next to this "scavenger hunt".
MINT Summer workshop 2021 – tomorrow’s innovators
This year’s summer workshop took place from 16 to 20 August. As in 2020, the event took place virtually via Zoom and Microsoft Teams. The seven children and youngsters participating could expect a diversified programme. It included topics like people with impairments, inclusion and robotics, folding techniques, plant physiognomy as well as information technology and an individual design for apps.
Webinar "Current job market and recruiting trends"
On 13 April 2021, a webinar took place on the topic of “current job market and recruiting trends” at the poly-e-fair. 218 people attended. Kristin von Lüdinghausen, ETH Alumni Association career coach guided the participants through this very informative and valuable event with presentations from three experts.
Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel
On Tuesday, 24 November 2020, 40 people joined the Autumn Conference on Economy, Health and Democracy in Times of Crisis. Three speakers gave insights into their daily work and presented their perceptions based on recent analyses and surveys in their corresponding fields of expertise. The ensuing discussions showed the general need to clarify open questions and exchange personal experiences.
ETH Alumni at Technorama
A small group of alumni went to the Technorama on Tuesday, 22nd September, to visit the current exhibition of ETH’s digital platform. The competence centre in Winterthur counts as one of the biggest science centres in Europe. A representative of the office of ETH’s president, a scientist and the centre’s director gave an insight into their daily work.
