Our new architectural alumni chapter got off to a great start on Thursday. Thank you to the many people who entered into the sprit of the evening. The Migros Museum was full and buzzing.

Great diversity

Our common ground of ETH and Architecture made conversations flow. As I went around the room discovering who we were, I was also struck by the chapters diversity. Hearing about the wide ranging projects we are all engaged with. We are all ages, we are international, we have different specialities. As we all started engaging with each other I felt this was the beginning of a very exciting new group of people.

Migros Museum

New acquaintances were made in the stimulating context of the Migros Museum, who hosted us beautifully. The food and drinks flowed. The curator talk on the current exhibition and building presentation by architects Gigon Guyer were fascinating, and we were encouraged to roam and explore the space.

Thank you again to all the alumni present, it was you that made this first event such a success. We are already thinking about the next intriguing space we might share together. (All ideas welcome).
