Greenland: An excursion into climate research

On 27th January 2020, the ETH Alumni invited to a speech about Greenland. Konrad Steffen offered more than just a presentation about the country up north: the ETH professor for climate and cryosphere talked about the state of research and the various scenarios for the future of our planet. The venue was fully booked; the many questions at the end were evidence to active interest.

From March 22 to April 7, 2019, we dive into a foreign culture. Except for one female participant, nobody of our travel group has been to Japan before. We engage with our versed and sensitive travel guide and japanologist Bruno Rhyner. In this way, we experience a much differentiated and eminently enjoyable ‘Japan’.

ETH Alumni Association organised 2018 two trips that were climate-neutral. This confirms a certificate from myclimate, a Swiss foundation, which is active in climate protection.
